1. To ensure the integration of science, higher education and the labor market;
2. To develope students' required level of research skills;
3. To make expert opinions of varying degrees of complexity on scientific materials (monographs, articles, videos, audio recordings, etc.) of Islamic studies, religious studies using the latest information and communication technologies for government institutions, the educational system and other institutions; Forecasting the development of the interfaith situation, the role and place of Islam in the religious space of the country, relying on analytical research and obtained fundamental, systemic knowledge, using modern methodology and IT technologies;
4. To build up a research process on the basis of modern comparative and other methodological approaches and information technologies in the state and foreign languages in the implementation of experimental research on complex problems of Islamic studies;
5. To carry out research in the field of cult-ritual practice, the doctrine of Islam on the basis of an integral systemic scientific worldview using empirical and theoretical methods and scientific technologies;
6. To develop innovative startups in the field of Islamic studies, interfaith relations (cross-platform devices, applications, electronic maps, etc.) to identify the religiosity of the population, filter content in various areas of Islam, track destructive, extremist, Salafist movements in Islam and other religions using innovative scientific methods and technologies, in particular, an interdisciplinary, systemic, comparative approach;
7. To create independent media content on topical issues of Islamic studies, video production with the formulation of problems, goals, objectives, conclusions, provisions using the knowledge and methodology of related scientific fields and digital technologies;
8. To participate in the work of Kazakhstani and international research teams to solve scientific and educational problems in the field of Islamic studies;
9. To organize the work of social rehabilitation centers for people who have fallen into destructive religious cults on the basis of the latest innovative achievements in the field of psychology and sociology of religion, interdisciplinary research in the field of religious studies aimed at reducing the level of radicalization of certain groups of the population, carrying out explanatory work on the problems of extremism and terrorism among the population;
10. To present the results of their educational and research activities in articles published in rating journals included in the international databases Web of Science or Scopus, as well as in national and international peer-reviewed publications, monographs, textbooks.
