To contribute to the theoretical aspects of complex processing of hydrocarbon raw materials and demonstrate the ability to create technological processes for processing of oil and petroleum raw materials and advanced processing of raw materials with the involvement of waste in secondary processing.
В1.To possess the basics of modern technologies of deep processing of hydrocarbons of oil, gas and coal, to use the appropriate hardware and technological equipment.
В2.To demonstrate a reasoned scientific discussion using the evidence base obtained as a result of theoretical and experimental training with the involvement of literary and patent sources of well-known researchers in the field of oil refining.В3. B4. Identify criteria for the effectiveness of the use of catalyst granules for specific processes. To assess the prospects of a large-scale transition to the conditions of industrial implementation of catalysts.
C 1.To implement a comprehensive research process based on modern innovative technologies in the field of petrochemistry and petrochemical synthesis.
C2. Be competent in the formulation and solution of modern scientific and practical problems of organization and conduct of research and management activities in the field of petrochemistry and oil and gas processing.

C4. To formulate the problems and tasks of scientific research, including the selection of methodologies necessary for this stage of research.

  • Description - The purpose of the discipline is to form doctoral students' ability to express their approaches and conclusions based on the results of scientific research, arguments and hypotheses in the style of academic writing. The training course forms the methodological basis for the presentation of research results in the open press, periodical scientific publications, at international conferences and communication with scientists from other countries, as well as in the form of applications for participation in the competition. As a result of mastering the course, the doctoral candidate will be able to: - write scientific articles for publication in international scientific journals indexed in the Scopus and Web of Science databases; - critically analyze scientific works, indicating their advantages and disadvantages; - prepare a dissertation work, clearly presenting the purpose and objectives of the research, discussing the results and formulating conclusions based on the analysis of the literature in the relevant section of petrochemical science; - state the content of scientific work: dissertations, monographs, review articles in a condensed form, preserving its essence and structure; - write, present and defend scientific projects on topical issues of petrochemistry and oil refining.

  • Description - The purpose of the discipline- to form professional competencies for doctoral students that provide the ability to assess the current state of complex processing of hydrocarbon raw materials, to search for ways to improve it, including understanding the theoretical foundations of improving the efficiency of oil refining and petrochemical synthesis processes, by selecting active and selective catalysts and improving their mechanisms of action; to optimize the parameters of processes. The discipline is aimed at studying: modern technologies for complex processing of hydrocarbon raw materials; ways to improve equipment and hardware design of petrochemical and oil refining processes, technological modes of their implementation and catalysts.

  • Description - The main purpose of "PhD thesis writing and defence": of a doctoral dissertation is the formation of the doctoral students' ability to disclose the content of research work for the defense of the thesis. During the study of course, doctoral student's should be competent in: 1. to substantiate the content of new scientifically grounded theoretical and experimental results that allow to solve a theoretical or applied problem or are a major achievement in the development of specific scientific directions; 2. explain the assessment of the completeness of the solutions to the tasks assigned, according to the specifics of the professional sphere of activity; 3. they can analyze alternative solutions for solving research and practical problems and assess the prospects for implementing these options; 4. apply the skills of writing scientific texts and presenting them in the form of scientific publications and presentations. 5. to plan and structure the scientific search, clearly highlight the research problem, develop a plan / program and methods for its study, formalize, in accordance with the requirements of the State Educational Establishment, the scientific and qualification work in the form of a thesis for a scientific degree Doctor of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) on specialty «8D07502 – Standardization and certification (by industry)».   • Description - The purpose of the discipline is to form doctoral students' creative ability to reasonably choose and apply modern and innovative theoretical and experimental research methods that ensure fundamental and applied scientific research at a high level and allow to obtain results that meet international requirements. The training course is a scientific and methodological base, the development of which will allow doctoral students to conduct research at a high international level, stimulates them to actively participate in scientific and innovative activities and the commercialization of scientific results. As a result of mastering the course, the doctoral candidate will be able to: - independently set and solve scientific tasks for conducting high-level scientific research in the field of petrochemistry and oil refining; - critically analyze scientific publications and results, determine their scientific level, identify the possibility of their accounting and use in their research; - to develop and implement experimental methods that allow obtaining the most reliable scientific results in the field of petrochemistry and oil refining; - interpret and synthesize data obtained by modern physical and physicochemical methods; - identify, justify and interpret priority areas of development in the field of petrochemistry and oil refining; to plan the conduct of scientific research in these areas in the form of projects and grant applications from various international and national funds; - interpret, summarize and present the results of their own scientific research in the form of scientific articles for publication in highly rated international publications, reports at highly significant international conferences.

  • Description - The purpose of the discipline is to form a doctoral student's ability: - to describe the theoretical basis of catalysis and the development of modern methods of preparation, selection and research of catalysts; - to interpret the idea of possible chemical and physical processes occurring on the surface and in the volume of catalyst granules; - to evaluate the methods of kinetic experiment, the basis of large-scale transition to the conditions of industrial implementation; - to analyze the criteria of the efficiency of the catalytic process; - to choose modern catalytic factories and trends of their development.
