MODEL OF GRADUATING STUDENT

ON 1. To organize, plan and implement the process of basic scientific research in the research laboratories of the biomedical field, practical health care institutions, pharmacological and chrono-medical centers, higher educational institutions.
ON 2. Directly lead and develop a development strategy for biomedical organizations; plan, organize and coordinate the activities of biomedical structural divisions, make proposals for its improvement, bearing full responsibility for the consequences of decisions made.
ON 3. Analyze, evaluate and compare various theoretical concepts in the field of biomedical research and draw appropriate conclusions;
ON 4. To ensure the quality and effectiveness of selected modern scientific research methods, to use the descriptive, prognostic and normative aspects of statistical methods when processing the results of a biomedical experiment.

Choose and effectively use modern research methodology, conduct independent scientific research, identify and solve theoretical and applied problems in the framework of modern scientific biomedical fields (physiology, cardiology, oncology, endocrinology, immunology, pharmacology, digital medicine, regenerative medicine, etc.) d.)

Organize and conduct an examination of scientific projects in the field of biomedicine based on a high level of competence in biomedicine, work experience, knowledge of the law, specialist's understanding of expert assessment methods, ability to argue their opinions, listen to others' opinions and, if necessary, correct theirs.
ON 10. To comply with the fundamental principles of bioethical principles, legislative and regulatory documents that ensure a responsible attitude to wildlife, to make decisions in a particular situation in accordance with generally accepted humanistic, moral norms and principles of behavior.
ON 11. To apply new conceptual approaches and directions of development of pedagogical science in the context of the modern paradigm of education, to apply modern methods and techniques of teaching in the field of teaching biomedical Sciences, various methodological approaches to the educational process in higher education, to use in personal practice modern research tools and innovative technologies of translation of knowledge of the basic concepts of natural science and Biomedicine;

Within the discipline, doctoral students improve their skills in analyzing and presenting of scientific information in various forms (report, review, article); learn to structure, format, select the style and language of describing research results in order to publish research materials in the form of scientific articles in ranked scientific journals, taking into account the peculiarities of writing scientific articles in English; master the methodology of writing a doctoral dissertation; develop the methodology for writing and issuing research grants in priority areas in the field of biomedicine and related fields. Also, learn to create the design of scientific research in accordance with the ethical principles and norms of the scientific publication process.

  • Description - The purpose of the discipline is the formation of a holistic systemic idea of the formation of knowledge about changes at the molecular and subcellular levels that occur during the development of the tumor process, the influence of the tumor on the metabolic processes of the whole organism. As a result of the internship, the doctoral candidate is able to: 1. to describe the systematized information about the main immunochemical phenomena underlying the anti-infective nonspecific resistance and specific immune response to cancer cells, 2. to study the methods of laboratory immunochemical analysis, 3. learn the principles of analyzing the data of immunochemical analysis and the formulation of an immunological diagnosis, 4. have an understanding of the methods of immunotherapy and immunoprophylaxis based on the main immunochemical phenomena (antigen-antibody reactions, cell adhesion reactions, cytokine regulation of immunogenesis, etc.). 5. be able to plan an immunochemical experiment and analyze its results. Discipline "Oncoimmunology" is aimed at developing in future specialists the ability to master the knowledge of the general laws governing the development of the functioning of the immune system in cancer diseases.   • Description - The purpose of discipline: formation of ideas about the causes and molecular mechanisms of transformation of normal animal cells into tumor cells. When studying the discipline, carcinogenic factors (chemical factors, physical factors, biological factors), their classification and mechanisms of action are considered. The course examines the main molecular mechanisms of cancer cell formation (genetic mutations of certain regulatory systems) and the process of malignancy (malignization); biological mechanisms of carcinogenesis: theory of four-stage carcinogenesis (initiation, promotion, stem line formation, tumor progression); biological features of tumor growth (atypism, growth autonomy, tumor cell kinetics, invasive tumor growth, metastasis, impact on the body - cancer cachexia). Methods for assessing the molecular and genetic status in cancer diseases are considered.
