MODEL OF GRADUATING STUDENT

ON1. develop scientific, research and educational strategic plans, integrated programs, project portfolios based on fundamental scientific training, knowledge of strategic planning, methods of research and modeling of projects;
ON2. create creative scientific ideas and products using analysis as a general scientific method of knowledge, evaluation and synthesis in the process of integrated research, creation and promotion of an innovative project product;
ON3. to make a substantiation and choice of accepted portfolio and design decisions, on the basis of modeling and application of modern methods and tools of project management;
ON.4 develop alternative methods of forecasting and evaluation for investment and portfolio analysis, with the aim of improving the efficiency of projects and making decisions on their financing;
ON 5. create an expert opinion, summarizing the results of system analysis in assessing and synthesizing new ideas, identifying problem situations in the process of designing, developing, adopting and implementing project management decisions;
ON 6. organize the provision of analytical, consulting, outsourcing and educational services to interested organizations and individuals; develop educational programs and corporate project management standards; develop methodological support and conduct pedagogical activities in higher education institutions;
ON 7. to recommend, on the basis of analysis, evaluation and selection, alternative options for management decisions in specific organizational and project situations;
ON 8. generate and set goals and objectives in the process of planning and operational management of the program, the project in conditions of full awareness;
ON 9. substantiate the choice of the trend of the project idea, models, expert methods of forecasting and reducing the investment risks of the project;
ON 10. to prove and insist on their point of view in evaluating the effectiveness of project management activities, to convince opponents of the correctness of the proposed solution;
ON 11. expand the scope of existing knowledge in the field of project management, reflect them in national and international refereed publications, through original research, critical analysis, evaluation and synthesis of new ideas, creation of an innovative project product.
ON 12. conduct a dialogue with a wide scientific community, equal in status by scientists, employers and students on the subject of their field of competence: types of research projects, project management problems, types, methods, management project consulting technologies, areas of application of these methods, risks, trends and their limitations .

Investment analysis and financing of projects

  • Description - During the study of course, students should be competent in the purpose of the discipline: to form the ability for investment analysis, financing and evaluating the effectiveness of projects. - Manage project resources, procurement of material and technical resources, stocks; - Develop and implement the logistics concept in the project; - To calculate the system of indicators of the use of material resources in the project, to model their interrelationships; - To calculate the indicators of the developed volume in operational management of projects; - To plan and promptly manage the project taking into account the effective use of human, financial and information resources allocated for the implementation of projects.During the study of the discipline, students will learn following aspects: Investment market: concept, conjuncture. Investment project. Methods for assessing the effectiveness of investment projects. Estimation of the investment project in the conditions of the market and uncertainty.   • Description - The purpose of the course: development of advanced knowledge and skills in doctoral students in making effective management decisions based on management analysis and forecasting to identify reserves for improving performance. The course is aimed at studying the role of management analysis and forecasting in making management decisions; methods of management analysis; methods of cross-assessment and non-budgetary management, analysis of indicators for assessing responsibility centers.

Models and Methods in Projects Managenment

  • Description - The discipline focuses on the study of network models (GNM), graphs, network diagrams and methods for calculating network models: CPM, PERT. Monte Carlo project execution, optimization of the project by resources (CPM-COST, PERT-COST), application of generalized models, optimization of network models by resources, application of stochastic (alternative) networks (GAN, GERT).

  • Description - The main purpose of "PhD thesis writing and defence": of a doctoral dissertation is the formation of the doctoral students' ability to disclose the content of research work for the defense of the thesis. During the study of course, doctoral student's should be competent in: 1. to substantiate the content of new scientifically grounded theoretical and experimental results that allow to solve a theoretical or applied problem or are a major achievement in the development of specific scientific directions; 2. explain the assessment of the completeness of the solutions to the tasks assigned, according to the specifics of the professional sphere of activity; 3. they can analyze alternative solutions for solving research and practical problems and assess the prospects for implementing these options; 4. apply the skills of writing scientific texts and presenting them in the form of scientific publications and presentations. 5. to plan and structure the scientific search, clearly highlight the research problem, develop a plan / program and methods for its study, formalize, in accordance with the requirements of the State Educational Establishment, the scientific and qualification work in the form of a thesis for a scientific degree Doctor of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) on specialty «8D07502 – Standardization and certification (by industry)».
