Upon completion of this program, it is expected that PhDs will be able to:
1. use modern methods of environmental systems analysis for making management decisions related to hazardous waste management;
2. substantiate the economic feasibility of the use of environmentally friendly technologies for various industries;
3. to conduct scientific experiments in the framework of laboratory studies according to a given method based on the latest theories and models in the field of ecology and environmental protection;
4. systematize and interpret scientific theories and concepts of the latest trends in the field of environmental protection for use in the educational process;
5. Differentially apply modern information technologies to ensure environmental safety;
6. calculate environmental and technological risks with the use of new software products and mathematical methods to ensure environmental safety of production;
7. develop recommendations for solving specific environmental problems based on the selection and adaptation of models for the management of environmental components;
8. develop programs for the effective management of natural resources and the stabilization of the environment;
9. to predict the directions of development of ecosystems under the influence of natural and anthropogenic factors to further prevent environmental pollution;
10. carry out original research based on the synthesis of new ideas, the results of which will be published in refereed publications for the further advancement of scientific research;
11. to set goals, develop design and technologies for field research in solving specific problems of fundamental ecology;
12. present scientific applied results to the wide scientific community and employers.

  • Description - The purpose of the discipline is to form professional competence and expand the communicative competence associated with analytical textual activity; to develop the skills of pragmatic thinking in doctoral students, the ability to analyze and correctly select the desired form of representation, depending on the goals and conditions of communication. The objectives of the discipline are to introduce the features of academic genres (annotation, abstract, analytical review, as well as messages about a scientific event (conference)); to determine the main goals of analytical text processing; to teach to analyze texts on professional topics. Studying the course will allow doctoral students to carry out professional activities related to searching for information in scientific databases, analyzing and referencing texts, working with various genres of academic writing; performing a comparative analysis of the scientific text in Russian and English to develop the ability to overcome socio-cultural difficulties caused by ignorance of the specifics of the English-language scientific style.

  • Description - Introduction to doctoral students with modern theoretical knowledge and scientific achievements of energy conversion in living systems, the structural and functional organization of cell membranes, the main energy-storing and energy-consuming processes and reactions occurring inside cells and associated with the vital functions of the body. Forming an idea about the possibilities of applying the acquired knowledge of the bioenergy of living organisms in professional activities, which is an integral stage in the development of professional skills and competencies of students in accordance with the requirements of the educational program.

  • Description - The purpose of the discipline is to form the ability to control the compliance of the developed projects and technical documentation with the environmental quality regulations, to use management technologies in the field of environmental protection activities. As a result of studying the discipline, the doctoral candidate will be able to: - to substantiate and explain the main modern trends in the field of ecology and environmental protection, theoretical and applied aspects of ecology; principles, methods, methods, means that form the basis of scientific and applied activities at all stages of the formation of creative solutions: from the formulation of laboratory and experimental studies, to their practical implementation; - apply a complex of acquired knowledge and skills in managing environmental safety of production, promoting environmental programs in legislative, governmental, regional institutions and local governments; - apply the main modern trends in the field of ecology and environmental protection, theoretical and applied aspects of ecology in professional activities; - compile, calculate and evaluate integrative scientific models of the global environmental crisis; - operate with environmental concepts and categories related to the regulation of environmental protection activities; - to promote innovative technological, social and cultural development within the academic and professional context.   • Description - The main purpose of "PhD thesis writing and defence": of a doctoral dissertation is the formation of the doctoral students' ability to disclose the content of research work for the defense of the thesis. During the study of course, doctoral student's should be competent in: 1. to substantiate the content of new scientifically grounded theoretical and experimental results that allow to solve a theoretical or applied problem or are a major achievement in the development of specific scientific directions; 2. explain the assessment of the completeness of the solutions to the tasks assigned, according to the specifics of the professional sphere of activity; 3. they can analyze alternative solutions for solving research and practical problems and assess the prospects for implementing these options; 4. apply the skills of writing scientific texts and presenting them in the form of scientific publications and presentations. 5. to plan and structure the scientific search, clearly highlight the research problem, develop a plan / program and methods for its study, formalize, in accordance with the requirements of the State Educational Establishment, the scientific and qualification work in the form of a thesis for a scientific degree Doctor of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) on specialty «8D07502 – Standardization and certification (by industry)».   • Description - The aim of discipline: to form the ability of systematic understand-ing of the methodology and theory of scientific research in the field of tourism to justify the goal and objectives, object and subject of research, the choice of optimal methods and forms of planning, or-ganization and conducting scientific research, to achieve the desired result.
