ON1 to create new scientific theoretical and practical concepts for the studied profile on the basis of theoretical and methodological achievements of domestic and foreign ethnological science; present reasonably gained knowledge and proven concepts in the research and scientific-pedagogical fields;
ON2 formulate and demonstrate their own conclusions and conclusions in the context of discussions by ethno-national processes based on the ability to critically analyze and evaluate modern scientific achievements, generate new ideas in solving research and practical problems, including in interdisciplinary fields;
ON3 to plan, develop, implement and coordinate the process of scientific research in the field of ethnology, conduct research expeditions and field trips in Kazakhstan and abroad
ON4 to carry out professional tasks in educational institutions of higher education, specialized academic institutes and other research institutes, in expert and analytical centers, public and state organizations of an information and analytical profile, training of scientific and pedagogical personnel with a high level of professional competence in the main educational programs of higher education
ON5 use modern methods and technologies of scientific communication in the state and foreign languages, team management, influence the formation of team goals, influence its socio-psychological climate in the direction necessary to achieve goals, evaluate the quality of performance;
ON6 introduce modern technologies in the field of ethnology and anthropology, create an information base for ethnographic research, digitize placement on the Internet; to develop information systems, apply interdisciplinary research in the comprehensive study of ethnographic materials;
ON7 develop tools in the activities of information and analytical centers, public, state institutions and organizations, mass media, institutions of historical and cultural tourism on the basis of identifying the advantages and disadvantages in implementing the policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
ON8 Comply with the norms of interaction in the scientific community, about the scientific ethics of a scientist-researcher, be a leader in the team, take the initiative, take full responsibility for their decisions within the framework of professional competencies, and resolve problematic situations that arise in the process of professional activity.
