QUALIFICATION

MODEL OF GRADUATING STUDENT
Upon completion of this program, it is expected that undergraduates will be able to:
1. Demonstrate advanced knowledge in the field of modern nanotechnologies for the processing of petroleum hydrocarbons, gas and unconventional hydrocarbons.
2.Demonstrate the level of knowledge in the field of petrochemistry from theory and practice to modern technologies and nanotechnology, synthesis of catalysts in petrochemistry and oil refining.
3.Apply this knowledge to develop design solutions for quality management in petrochemical production.
4.Critically evaluate existing and promising technologies and methods of petrochemical syntheses for production of raw materials used in the processes of organic and petrochemical synthesis.
5.Be able to solve and assess the level of environmental problems of petrochemical and gas processing industries and find effective ways to solve them.
6.Propose and justify the physico-chemical and engineering solutions for the creation of new technologies for the processing of oil, gas, natural energy carriers and carbon materials.
7.Propose methods for solving standard professional tasks arising in the development of chemical-technological processes for the processing of oil, hydrocarbon gases and petroleum bituminous rocks.
8.Use the methods and main measures of the technical solutions used in refineries to reduce energy consumption for processes.
9.Be able to lead a scientific discussion, using the evidence base obtained as a result of literary, theoretical and experimental research in petrochemistry.
10.Show a creative attitude to the planning of petrochemical research in the field of study, the structure of heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysts, as well as the mechanism of the transformations occurring with their participation.
11.Design oil refining facilities to produce products of a predetermined quality, in accordance with the requirements of process regulations for energy-saving technology.
12.Implement his/her own solutions and ideas, successfully carry out research and management activities. Form and reasonably defend his/her own ideological position on various problems of philosophy.
