QUALIFICATION
- Scientific and pedagogical direction - Master of Arts
MODEL OF GRADUATING STUDENT
Upon completion of this educational program, graduate students are expected to be able to:
ON1. To draw up methodological developments, recommendations, manuals, analytical reports on topical issues of museum work and historical and cultural examination, as well as on the history of art and the protection of monuments, using modern methodological principles and methodological methods of research; independently implements research results in practical museological and monumentological pedagogical activity;
ON2. To develop recommendations as a result of a theoretical study in the field of museological, humanistic, art studies and monument conservation;
ON3. To make an expert opinion on museum exhibits, the protection of monuments, exhibitions, educational and cultural events presented in museum, cultural organizations, as well as in the information space, based on theoretical and applied materials;
ON4. To prepare draft information certificates on official requests of legal entities and individuals on issues related to the history, scientific information and examination of museum items held in custody in museum and cultural institutions.
ON5. Own various methods, regulatory documents, acts, internal regulations of museum and research organizations to provide methodological assistance to employees, to clarify ethical issues, as well as prepare documents for digitization;
ON6. To possess applied skills, including restoration and conservation of natural sciences and humanitarian disciplines when creating museum expositions, exhibitions and research, cultural and educational, expert analytical and organizational and managerial works;
ON7. Systematize and classify historical and cultural monuments, disclose their functions, specifics, features of the museumification of monuments, and also interpret in print and digital media space from the point of view of informing the general public and in order to create new competencies for further personal and professional growth;
ON8. Advise state, museum, cultural, educational institutions, including travel agencies, in preserving, popularizing museum objects and monuments of material culture;
ON9. Carry out various activities based on an understanding of their educational, cultural and educational potential, which are implemented through museum and cultural institutions;
ON10. Own modern multimedia and digital technologies for the presentation of museology, art knowledge and the protection of monuments at various information sites;
ON11. Implement in the media and Internet resources museum and pedagogical activities, to make their own original contribution in the field of museology, the protection of monuments and art history; to develop scientific and methodological products, educational and methodological complexes, author’s courses and programs integrated in three languages in museology and monumentology disciplines;
ON12. Systematize the acquired knowledge, demonstrate the ability to critically analyze, synthesize and evaluate the knowledge, skills and abilities acquired during the study of various areas related to the activities of museums, the protection of historical, cultural and natural heritage, to collaborate and work in a team to preserve the cultural heritage of the nation. To conduct an examination of curricula, educational and methodological complexes of disciplines, copyright courses in the field of museology and monuments.
