MODEL OF GRADUATING STUDENT

LO1 Demonstrates a high level of intellectual development, competent and developed speech in the native and foreign languages, a culture of thinking and skills of scientific organization of work, knowledge of current methodological and philosophical problems of natural sciences, as well as knowledge of psychology and pedagogy.
LO2 Is able to independently analyze the environmental problems of species conservation, protection, legislation and formation of aquatic biological resources, solve the problem of commercial ichthyology and perform field, laboratory biological studies to solve the problems of conservation of aquatic biological resources using the methods of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
LO3 Is able to use professional knowledge and skills in the processing of raw materials and the fishing industry, the management of hydrobiont fishing, with the use of methods of processing and reproduction of hydrobionts for the independent organization of production activities in the field of aquaculture and aquatic bioresources.
LO4 It is able to analyze the state of vegetation and aquatic invertebrates, assess the impact of higher aquatic plants on the biological productivity of the reservoir, using innovative methods in aquaculture and methods for determining the bio-productivity of aquatic invertebrates and higher aquatic plants.
LO5 It is able to normalize the economic activities of intensive aquaculture enterprises with the use of methods of environmental rationing, fisheries and environmental expertise; participates in the development of projects for the protection of aquatic bioresources, uses methods of environmental monitoring of reservoirs, and forecasts changes in the state of the environment.
LO6. Develops practical recommendations for commercial fishing of fish and other hydrobionts, based on the analysis of their population structure, uses methods for studying the dynamics of the population of hydrobionts, carries out work on the repair and installation of fishing gear, evaluates the economic efficiency, wear and durability of fishing gear, is able to organize
LO7 Is able to manage a fishery enterprise, implement a systematic approach to the organization of technological processes at fisheries enterprises, uses intensive and innovative technologies for growing valuable fish species, and owns the technology of primary processing of fish raw materials.
LO8 Assesses the epizootic, parasitological situation in natural and artificial reservoirs, organizes therapeutic and preventive measures in fish farms, using methods of ichthyopathology and sanitary standards of fisheries management.
LO9 Is able to apply the methods of studying the genotypic variability of hydrobionts using modern and traditional genetic methods of fish breeding and genetics, assesses the genetic processes in populations, uses cytological methods of studying heredity, identifies the features of hybridological (genetic) analysis
LO10 Capable of analytical thinking, logic, analysis, scientific substantiation and creative solution of current problems in the field of fisheries, analyzes the results of scientific research, applies them to solving specific research tasks in the field of science and education, independently carries out scientific research.
