  • Description - The course examines the main lexical resources, the phonetic and grammatical structure of the language of the ancient Turkic runic monuments in general terms with the medieval and modern Turkic languages. Morphology, composition, phrase, members of a sentence, types of sentences are considered in a comparative historical aspect. Taking into account the linguistic (graphic, phonetic, grammatical) features of the monuments, scientific knowledge of the comparative-historical grammar of the Turkic languages is deepened.

The ancient Turkic runic script (Turkic runic) of Southern Siberia, Mongolia, Central Asia and Kazakhstan is considered as a valuable source for the history of Turkic languages and linguists.
