About the program
Training of a competitive, qualified neurologist with professional knowledge and skills in diagnosing and treating patients with neurological pathology at a high level in accordance with the principles of evidence-based medicine, applying modern medical technologies, capable of organizing effective preventive measures, and generating new knowledge in the field of healthcare.

Upon completion of this program, it is expected that residents will be able to
1.Integrate clinical knowledge and skills for effective diagnosis, treatment, and disease management and promotion of patient health in neurological pathology at all levels of medical care, based on evidence-based practice and critical evaluation of new information.
2.Provide specialized medical care for neurological pathology to adults and children in accordance with current clinical treatment protocols, taking into account the standard of neurological care, and assess the effectiveness and safety of treatment and prevention tools.
3.Effectively use communication skills to establish positive and trusting relationships with patients, including children, adolescents, and their families (or legal representatives) in the process of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases, including emergencies, performing diagnostic procedures, and initiating appropriate interventions.
4.Apply knowledge of the basic principles of human behavior and patient psychology for effective communication and management of the therapeutic and diagnostic process, adhering to the principles of ethics and deontology, demonstrating teamwork with other healthcare professionals.
5. Timely and effectively provide specialized medical care in emergency and life-threatening conditions that arise in the provision of neurological care, including in emergency situations, natural and man-made disasters, and pandemics.
6.Apply legal knowledge in the field of health protection, the protection of the rights of the doctor and the patient, and be guided by normative legal acts that determine the activities of organizations and medical workers in the field of health protection.
7.Use modern information and digital technologies and health information systems to solve professional problems, maintain medical documentation to improve efficiency, ensure safety, and quality of medical care.
8.Conduct specific and non-specific prevention activities for neurological diseases, sanitary educational work, and promote a healthy lifestyle to strengthen the health of children and adults and population health as a whole.
9.Adhere to the highest standards of professional responsibility and integrity, focusing on personal growth and lifelong learning.
10.Analyze and critically evaluate professional literature, formulate research questions, effectively use international databases in their daily activities, and participate in scientific research aimed at advancing knowledge in the field of human health and improving the quality of life.
