Held a seminar on the topic "Effective ways to raise students' HSK level"

On November 30, 2022, at 14:00, at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of Chinese Studies, according to the "Methodological seminar" plan, Turbek Murat, a teacher of the department held a seminar on the topic "Effective ways to raise students' HSK level".

At the seminar, a discussion was held about the teaching methods used in teaching the Chinese language today. In order to effectively teach Chinese to students, the teacher should use adequate teaching methods during the lesson. In order to comprehensively improve students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, Turbek M. suggested several methods.1. To increase the interest of students by asking questions related to numbers very often.2. To request students to use proverbs and idioms, and to translate them.3. To let students talk more about any topics they are interested in, so that increase their speaking skills and writing skills.4. To read more books written in Chinese.5. To watch more TV series, programs, and cartoons in Chinese.6. To improve writing by practicing day by day. The topic of the seminar aroused great interest among the participants. The speaker comprehensively answered a number of questions related to the topic. It can be estimated that the goal of the seminar was fully fulfilled.
