MODEL OF GRADUATING STUDENT
ON1 Possess a system of linguistic knowledge of the foreign language being studied and its functional varieties with the patterns of oral and written speech, vocabulary, grammar, word-formation phenomena and functions.
ON2 Conduct scientific research in modern areas in the field of linguistics, using the latest linguistic methods and techniques in the scientific study of language and speech; develop and implement professional opinions on linguistic projects.
ON3 Understand professionally oriented texts, freely and spontaneously formulate one’s own point of view, composing detailed messages on topics of any nature.
ON4 Demonstrate knowledge of the basic principles and concepts in the field of literary theory, history of domestic and world literature; an idea of various genres of literary and folklore texts.
ON5 Possess the skills of participating in scientific discussions, delivering messages and reports, oral, written and virtual (on social networks) presentation of materials of own research.
ON6 Be able to conduct a critical literary analysis of a work using scientific and reference literature, bibliographic sources and modern search systems, with further application of the acquired knowledge in research activities.
ON7 Demonstrate the ability to edit, interpret and comment on fiction, scientific, journalistic literature and official business texts, as well as process (proofreading, summarizing, adapting, summarizing) texts of various types in native and foreign languages.
ON8 Use linguistically oriented software products in scientific research and to solve applied problems, including the creation of linguistic corpora, philological databases and other digital resources for the humanities.
ON9 Carry out examination of various types of texts from linguistic and literary points of view, with bibliographic research skills in using annotations from various sources, as well as applying modern computer technologies.
ON10 Based on interdisciplinary knowledge in the field of law, ecology, entrepreneurship, financial literacy and the philosophical teachings of Farabi and Abai, apply conceptual and categorical tools and the basic laws of the humanities and social sciences in professional activities.
