to demonstrate knowledge of the main stages of the modern history of progressive development of Kazakhstan's statehood in the context of the world and Eurasian historical process; to freely interpret and creatively use scientific, historical and philosophical knowledge to summarize the success factors of the Kazakhstan model of development on the way to the established state – the Republic of Kazakhstan;
2. to apply the legislation in the field of education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Laws of Kazakhstan "On education", "Status of the teacher", the Code on marriage and family, etc., knowledge of the history of pedagogy and education; ethnopedagogics, knowledge of the General laws of education, to analyze psychological and pedagogical situations on the basis of didactics and the theory of education; own scientific and theoretical bases of training, education and development; categorical apparatus of pedagogy and psychology;
3. to design and implement, analyze and evaluate the pedagogical process in the school in terms of 12 years of education, to manage the pedagogical process in the school;
4. to organize the activities of psychological services at school, to plan, organize, diagnose and predict the results of psychological and pedagogical activities; to organize psychological and pedagogical diagnostics in various areas of psychological practice, to fill in the pedagogical documentation, to solve the problems of primary, secondary, tertiary diagnosis of children on the basis of methods of observation and consultation, diagnostic techniques;
5. to provide psychological advice to children in typical situations of the request, to use counseling methods focused on solving the problems of development, analysis and search for resources for age development, profiling and career guidance, to organize experimental work in educational institutions to advise children; for the prevention and development of psychological health of the child;
6. to identify features of age anatomical, physiological, psychological development of the younger person; to understand the laws of personal development of children, adolescents and youth; to develop and implement individual programs for the development of children, projects, plans of educational activities and their psychological support, psychological and pedagogical support in the activities of schools, colleges, universities;
7. to develop and improve educational strategies, technologies and methods of education and upbringing, to introduce innovations in education; to master modern pedagogical strategies and technologies, to use them effectively in the integral pedagogical process of educational institutions, to design individual educational trajectories, including for children with special educational needs;
8. to carry out quality control of education, to own technologies of management and criteria assessment, to develop methods and tools for quality control of education; 9. conduct mini-research in the field of education, carry out research and evaluation of the results of psychological and pedagogical research and prepare conclusions and proposals for their practical use;
10. to design interaction of the teacher-psychologist with a family in various situations, including on prevention and correction of development of the child; to carry out educational work with parents, the organization of skilled work in educational institutions on consultation of children, on the prevention and correction of deviant behavior of the child;
11. creatively solve problems in the field of education, actively applies methods, systems of creative knowledge and technologies in the educational and training process of educational institutions, the ability to set and solve non-standard tasks on the basis of universal values, values of self-knowledge, the values of folk pedagogy;
12. to reflect on their professional activities, have critical thinking, systematically improve their professional skills, determine the limits of their competence, successfully communicate with colleagues, specialists of related professions, to carry out multilingual communication
