Upon completion of this educational program, students are expected to be able to:
ON1 Algorithmize the use of scientific methods and techniques of research of the discipline and in the procedures of interaction of disciplines of the module; explain the nature of situations and ideas of scientific fields; analyze the role of social, political, cultural, psychological institutions in the modernization of Kazakhstan society; analyze different situations from the standpoint of correlation with the system of values, social, cultural, legal and ethical standards of Kazakhstan society;

ON2 Analyze and substantiate the main trends in the development of information technologies for their use in the library business; effectively use electronic catalogs; use modern systems of information and technical support of information and library management necessary for the effective implementation of professional tasks and the creation of electronic libraries; explain the methods of collection, storage and processing of information

ON3 To apply the General laws and requirements peculiar to service readers and users of libraries; to analyze methods of promotion of the arrived literature on different areas of science and technology, for their versatile use; to apply effective methods of search and performance of inquiries of users by means of electronic search systems; to show knowledge of use of information technology for the solution of tasks.
ON4 Tto apply in practice theoretical knowledge on formation of documentary funds of libraries and information services; to use methods of collecting, the analysis and generalization of theoretical and empirical base in the field of formation and use of library Fund; to analyze the main foreign recommendatory lists of literature, to prepare and carries out oral reviews of literature for replenishment of information flow in funds of libraries.

ON5 To use theoretical and practical knowledge for the preparation of bibliographic manuals and teaching materials; to analyze the problems of studying the synthesis of bibliographic, information approaches; to apply their knowledge to analyze and collect data for the compilation of bibliographic indexes in certain areas, topics; to organize days of information and bibliographic reviews; to Relate the methodological foundations of bibliography, bibliography, library science and information technology.
ON6 To use materials of library fund of libraries for preparation and carrying out educational and educational work; to carry out reader conferences, round tables, exhibitions and presentations of books, the organization of meetings with figures of culture and science; the organization of exhibitions for children, teenagers;

ON8 Apply knowledge systems and skills for the use of information technologies in the process of search and processing of professional information to meet the diverse professional information needs of the information market; analyze information data for the compilation of quality catalogs on various media; use the skills of working with information, to present in various forms of messages, to justify their point of view.
ON9 To have a culture of thinking and public speaking, to form their thoughts correctly and logically in oral and written form, to participate in discussions; to reasonably provide information about the different stages of development of the Kazakh society, political programs, culture, language, social and interpersonal relations; to distinguish strategies of different types of research society and to justify the choice of methodology for the analysis of problems.
ON10 To analyze sociological, psychological, pedagogical and marketing researches in the field of library business; to Use modern methods in the process of acquisition of funds by documents in printing and electronic execution, to conduct technical processing of documents entering the Fund; their accounting, placement and arrangement, to optimally structure the Fund; to analyze information and bibliographic and library services of users to improve the work of libraries.

ON11 To substantiate the historical background and periods of formation of independent Kazakhstan; to conduct a critique-comparative analysis of phenomena and events on the basis of modern Kazakhstan; to predict the advantages, features of the Kazakhstan development model; to assess the knowledge of analytical analysis in the study of processes, phenomena and the role of historical figures in the history of modern Kazakhstan; to form their own opinion on the modernization of Kazakhstan society, to acquire historical knowledge.
