QUALIFICATION

MODEL OF GRADUATING STUDENT
1. Demonstrates a high level of intellectual development, literate and developed speech, knowledge and skills of humanitarian and cultural thinking in the field of history of Kazakhstan, philosophy, political science, sociology, the legal framework for combating corruption, financial literacy and the basics of entrepreneurship, is competent in the field of professional activity in an inclusive environment, has computer skills with software applications (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
2. Apply knowledge of the diversity of the animal world, biology of living organisms, systematics and taxonomy of vertebrates and invertebrates and aquatic plants, using the basic methods of histology and cytology, ichthyology, hydrochemistry, hydrobiology to assess the state of the ecology of water bodies and aquatic organisms;
3. Understands the patterns of functioning of aquatic biological systems using theoretical knowledge in biochemistry, microbiology and virology, genetics to determine the state of a species population;
4. Applies technological processes for growing fish and other aquaculture facilities, understands the basic issues of the economics of fish farming, controls the conditions of cultivated aquaculture facilities and environmental conditions, using knowledge on hydrochemistry, pond fish farming, genetics and breeding work in fish farming, labor protection rules, fire and safety at work;
5. Uses knowledge on fish embryology, viral, bacterial, and invasive fish diseases with the use of measures for the prevention and treatment of fish diseases, independently plans experiments and observations of the fish incubation process;
6. Applies knowledge on the basics of hydraulic engineering, on the basics of technological processes for growing fish and other aquaculture objects in mariculture conditions, taking into account their biological characteristics, designing fish farms, by types of fish feed and feeding technology for valuable aquaculture objects, technology for breeding live feeds using industrial and decorative fish farming methods;
7. He applies practical skills to determine the trophic status of reservoirs, the availability of fish food, using methods for determining fish nutrition, acclimatization of aquatic organisms and accounting for aquatic biological resources to conduct research on the state of fish populations and their relationships with the environment;
8. Applies theoretical knowledge on the formation of fish stocks and practical skills in industrial fishing, classification of fishing gear, limnology, monitoring of natural reservoirs, to perform ichthyological and hydrobiological studies of natural reservoirs;
9. Analyzes the factors determining the distribution of fish, the ichthyogeographic zoning of fish, the trophic status of aquatic ecosystems using methods of ichthyological and hydrobiological analysis and methods of population biology, biometrics and variation statistics in scientific research to study theoretical problems of biological productivity of reservoirs;
10. Uses methods of synthesis, self-expression and self-development at the end of the curriculum, is able to consider the possibility of expanding knowledge on the basis of self-education, information and educational technologies; uses the opportunity to choose the priorities of educational and research activities; analyzes information obtained from various sources in global computer networks, is competent to build professional relationships with colleagues and management, constantly improves his qualifications and is ready to continue studying in the master's program;
11. Demonstrates knowledge about the diversity of the animal world, the characteristic features and properties of a living organism, is fluent in the systematics and taxonomy of vertebrates and invertebrates and aquatic plants, has a complete conceptual and terminological apparatus in the disciplines of zoology, ichthyology, hydrobiology, hydrobotany;
12. Is ready to act rationally and independently, guided by scientifically based conclusions, observations and experience gained as a result of cognitive professional activity; he is able to work in a team, effectively plan time on his own, determine priority work, comply with established deadlines.
