Training of competitive high-level specialists capable of independent research, professional and teaching activities in the field of Sociology.
Graduate model
1.Interpret the main ideas of modern sociological paradigms, trends and directions of development of world and domestic sociological science, building on their basis their own conceptual framework;
2.Independently develop the design of your own sociological research - posing research questions, organizing research stages, determining the strategy and methods of scientific research, designing data analysis methods;
3. Apply modern methods of qualitative and quantitative sociological research for monitoring and diagnostics, modeling social, economic, political, cultural phenomena and relations, developing social policy and sustainable development programs;
4. Assess the features and main trends in the modernization of modern society, the transformation of global, regional and local socio-economic and political, cultural and political institutions and processes;
5. Possess mathematical methods of analysis, skills in using regression and multivariate statistical methods, analyzing sociological data using modern software packages for statistical data processing (SPSS, etc.);
6. Apply modern information technologies and special computer programs to obtain, process, systematize, analyze and store scientific information and the results of independent scientific research, data visualization, and their presentation in the form of reports and presentations;
7. Reasonably present scientific problems and research results at the national and international level in the form of reports, articles and other publications, projects, reports, doctoral dissertation, while demonstrating the culture of scientific writing and scientific communication;
8. Independently solve problems of research and teaching activities that require deepening professional knowledge, developing a worldview and professional culture, mastering modern and innovative technologies of education and science.
