MODEL OF GRADUATING STUDENT

Upon completion of this program, it is expected that doctoral students will be able to:
1.Apply a modern oriental language, as well as Kazakh, Russian and Western languages at a level sufficient for research and professional practice;
2. Analyze the trends of modern science, critically evaluate various theories, concepts and approaches, to develop topical issues of theoretical and practical significance;
3. Contribute by means of original research to the framework of existing knowledge in the field of translation studies and the study of a specific translation problem of the oriental language;
4. Effectively generate the process of communication, apply the technique of bilateral interpretation and translation from the Eastern language and to the Eastern; translate, annotate and abstract various types of texts from foreign languages;
5. Critically apply the provisions of modern linguistic theory of translation in written and oral forms of translation, as well as in research activities;
6. Apply modern information technologies, including methods of obtaining, processing and storing scientific information, methods of statistical analysis, reporting skills, interpretation of data in the native and foreign languages;
7. Choose modern methods of scientific research in the subject field, put forward scientific hypotheses in the field of professional activity and consistently develop arguments in their defense;
8. Create new curricula and develop innovative methods of organizing the educational process; analyze the results of scientific research and apply them in solving specific educational problems;
9. Determine the socio-cultural specificity of the country of the language being studied, build its speech and non-speech behavior in accordance with this specificity, taking into account professionally oriented communication situations, adequately substantiate and interpret linguocultural facts; overcome the influence of stereotypes and carry out intercultural dialogue in the general and professional areas of communication;
10. Formulate and solve modern scientific and practical problems, to develop projects and programs in the national and foreign languages;
11. Apply new interactive and digital technologies in the organization of the educational process at various levels of education and in various educational institutions;
12. Set real and achievable goals, tasks that meet the requirements of the situation and the chosen direction of research;

The discipline is aimed at studying the differentiation of the scientific vocabulary of the language being studied in the areas (historical, philological, socio-cultural); the main grammatical problems characteristic of scientific and professional speech in the studied oriental language; epistemological, cognitive and communicative function of the scientific style; features of the academic and popular science sub-styles of the language being studied.
