MODEL OF GRADUATING STUDENT

1. demonstrate a systematic understanding of scientific information on Geoecology, theoretical knowledge in the field of environmental problems of different scales, the successful development of modern methods of management and optimization of environmental management;
2. use the mechanisms of self-healing components of the natural environment to eliminate the negative consequences of human impacts;
3. interpret the relationship of natural and socio-economic processes in the evaluation of natural and technical systems;
4. analyze and apply the regulatory framework in the field of sustainable subsoil use;
5. choose modern environmental technologies in the implementation of EIA projects for all stages of the life cycle of the enterprise;
6. systematize and summarize information on the assessment of natural and technical systems;
7. evaluate the technologies of liquidation of consequences of emergency floods of oil and oil products from the standpoint of stability of landscapes and their components to contamination by oil and oil products based on the composition of pollutants and environmental conditions;
8. assess the conditions of sustainable subsoil use in the economy of Kazakhstan and the world;
9. build a system of facts about the global pollution of the oceans and justify the formation of global pollution by microplastics;
10. recommend a system of models that most fully reflect the main relationships in the natural and economic systems and allow to assess the dynamics of their development to select the optimal solution for environmental management;
11. generate methods of interpretation of the results of multivariate statistical model of component analysis to identify the system factors of formation of natural and technical systems;
12. determine the direction of further personal and professional development to develop independent solutions and alternatives to ensure full consideration of the geoecological characteristics of the region in the design of economic activities.

  • Description - The purpose of the discipline is to form professional competence and expand the communicative competence associated with analytical textual activity; to develop the skills of pragmatic thinking in doctoral students, the ability to analyze and correctly select the desired form of representation, depending on the goals and conditions of communication. The objectives of the discipline are to introduce the features of academic genres (annotation, abstract, analytical review, as well as messages about a scientific event (conference)); to determine the main goals of analytical text processing; to teach to analyze texts on professional topics. Studying the course will allow doctoral students to carry out professional activities related to searching for information in scientific databases, analyzing and referencing texts, working with various genres of academic writing; performing a comparative analysis of the scientific text in Russian and English to develop the ability to overcome socio-cultural difficulties caused by ignorance of the specifics of the English-language scientific style.

  • Description - Formation of doctoral deep systematic knowledge about the anthropogenic aspects of subsoil use, environmental functions of the lithosphere, the requirements in the field of rational and integrated use of mineral resources, the legal and economic mechanisms of subsoil management. As a result of studying the discipline the doctoral student is able to: explain the basic concepts and principles of subsoil use in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, analyze the system of state regulation of subsoil use of Kazakhstan and the system of payments for subsoil use of Kazakhstan, to apply the regulatory framework in the field of sustainable subsoil use.

Tasks - training in the latest methods and technologies of research in the field of development of green technologies, methods of research of sources of anthropogenic impact on the natural environment and fixing the responses of the biosphere; development of skills in applying for participation in programs of fundamental, applied and innovative research, obtaining scientific grants in the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign countries; navigate the ratings of scientific journals; rules for registration of scientific documentation, including patents and licenses; develop skills in preparing abstracts, presentations, research papers and research projects.

  • Description - The purpose of the discipline is to form a system of theoretical knowledge and practical skills of using multidimensional models by doctoral students for a comprehensive study of natural and anthropogenic factors acting on the geoecosystem – a model of multiple linear regression that implements the target function according to R. Pentl and a model of multidimensional statistics – component analysis – as a method of constructing hypotheses to identify natural and anthropogenic factors of geoecosystem formation.

Geoecological and Ecological and Economic Aspects of Natural and Man-made Systems

  • Description - The discipline is formation of doctoral deep knowledge of the basic ecological and economic aspects of the organization of economic activity and the effective use of natural and man-made systems, skills of applying the knowledge to improve the ecological and economic efficiency of use of natural resources and optimize the ecological and economic efficiency of natural and man-made systems.

Modern methods of assessing the anthropogenic load on the environment

  • Description - The purpose of the discipline is to obtain knowledge on the environmental assessment of the territories using environmental monitoring, environmental expertise, environmental auditing and environmental insurance. As a result of the development of this discipline, doctoral students will be able to: know the international and Kazakhstan environmental legislation that regulates the interrelations of environmental monitoring, environmental impact assessment, environmental auditing and environmental insurance to preserve the natural environment, know the essence of modern aspects of environmental monitoring, environmental impact assessment, environmental auditing and environmental insurance, know classical and modern scientific approaches and methodologies for the environmental assessment of territories.

Technogenesis and the formation of natural and technogenic landscapes
