About the program
Training of highly qualified master's degree psychologists capable of implementing scientific, pedagogical, research and psychological activities with children, adolescents and their environment, including diagnosis, counseling, psychocorrection, psychotherapy, support and psychoprophylaxis in the field of child and adolescent psychology.
Graduate model
1.Have a systematic vision of the historical aspects and conceptual foundations of theoretical, methodological, applied, sectoral approaches of the social sciences and humanities and the foundations of experimental work in in foreign and Kazakh psychology.
2. To operate with the concepts of pediatric neuropsychology and psychosomatics in the field of features of the development of higher mental functions, sensory and gnostic disorders, psychosomatic disorders of childhood and adolescence.
3. Possess a system of scientific categories and concepts that define anomaly, giftedness, talent, genius; the nature and structure of these phenomena, the features of their age formation, principles and methods of identification; their psychological correction and support.
4. To apply methods, procedures, techniques and techniques of psychodiagnostic, correctional and developmental, counseling and psychotherapy activities in family and individual practice (including in the field of child-parent relations).
5. To compile psychodiagnostic, medical and psychological, expert opinions and recommendations on the use of diagnostic data in psychological activities with children and adolescents.
6. To provide psychological assistance, support, psychocorrection and psychotherapy based on the use of psychotraining, gaming, art therapy, body-oriented and other psychotechnologies.
7. To develop and implement forms, methods and programs adequate to the problems of diagnostic, correctional, psychotherapeutic, training and preventive measures based on the modeling methodology for solving theoretical and applied socio-psychological problems of childhood and adolescence.
8. To create a design and program for psychological research and experiment using modern research methods, equipment, information technology, statistical methods of processing psychological data, theoretical models for predicting the properties of the objects under study.
9. To use the experience gained from foreign language information, innovative methods, technologies of training and development, monitoring and evaluation of achievements; non-traditional forms of conducting classes (including in a game and training form) for the successful organization of education and the formation of the personality of a graduate student.
10. Master the methods of organizing and managing professional activities and the work of various teams based on ethical principles, supervision; methods of making managerial decisions, including in non-standard situations
