MODEL OF GRADUATING STUDENT

ON1. analyze a large amount of scientific knowledge from specific facts to holistic theories that reflect the current state of fundamental sciences of a general philological profile and foreign philology, taking into account the latest achievements and technologies in the field of linguistic research.
ON 2. use the basics of planning and organizing scientific research and an understanding of the terminological apparatus and the system of methodological principles and methodological techniques of foreign philological studies to identify and develop problem areas within the framework of the research context and approbate the research results.
ON 3. demonstrate the ability to use the acquired knowledge in such areas as literary hermeneutics, medialinguistics and public speaking, for the preparation of analytical speech works in foreign and native languages and the technical design of foreign-language scientific and journalistic taking into account language variability.
ON 4. demonstrate the development of advanced foreign language skills in all types of speech activities within the framework of various communicative styles and speech genres of the modern English language(including interpretation of literary and media texts), using in practice discursive ways of expressing various types of information to solve pragmatic communication problems.
ON 5. apply the knowledge of the various types and, forms and functions of academic communication, the features of a foreign language scientific style, the organizational structure and content of an authentic scientific text reflecting linguistic variability of the English language, as well as models and strategies of verbal and non-verbal communicative behavior in the preparation of reasoned and detailed statements on various problems of general and special scientific, business and professional orientation.
ON 6. summarize the knowledge gained as a result of informational-analytical and informational-bibliographic work in the field of linguistic, literary and linguodidactic studies using modern information technologies to determine ways to creatively solve philological and pragma-professional problems;
ON 7.explain current issues and aspects of scientific research in the field of contrastive-comparative description of languages and integrate knowledge about the social aspects of the functioning of language units of various levels, interpreting the text as a complex multifaceted phenomenon of linguistic and literary analysis;
ON 8. to develop projects, demonstrating an independent systemic and creative approach in the course of work on scientific and design studies and in solving the corresponding pragma-professional problems, analyzing language as a functional system, taking into account its social stratification, communicative and cognitive functions, as well as the pragmatics of linguistic impact, intercultural discourse and speech tactics.
