QUALIFICATION
- Scientific and pedagogical direction - Master of Philological Sciences
MODEL OF GRADUATING STUDENT
Upon completion of this program, it is expected that undergraduates will be able to:
ON1) Identify topical issues, highlighting aspects of research in the development of Oriental philology;
ON2) Organize and conduct teaching sessions (other than lectures) taking into account the principles of student-centred learning and assessment;
ON3) Ensure integration of psycho-pedagogical and subject matter knowledge in undergraduate seminar/workshop sessions;
ON4) Critically evaluate modern theories, problems and approaches, new trends in the study of written monuments and philological concepts in the Eastern countries;
ON5) Apply a variety of methods of analysis and interpretation of artistic and historical handwritten texts in the oriental language in the research process;
ON6) Critically use the achievements of modern linguistics, literary studies and terminology of oriental languages, expanding the methodology of studying linguistic written and speech material in the context of theoretical and applied projects;
ON7) Creatively solve professional tasks and problems in the translation process, considering cognitive, linguo-cultural contexts, relying on pragmatic, functional strategies;
ON8) To make thesauruses of texts with comments, industry dictionaries with the use of IT technologies, to develop templates, clichés in the Eastern language, operated in the business sphere;
ON9) Develop scientific projects on actual problems of the studied Oriental language and literature, interrelations and mutual influences of languages and literature of the Eastern countries;
ON10) Perform complex analyses of literary works, demonstrating the ability to use the methodology of other humanities sciences in the procedures of analyzing works of fiction;
ON11) Develop methods of teaching Oriental languages and literature combining, modifying traditional and innovative methods for the implementation of educational activities in the classroom and information network;
ON12) Critically assess the results of their own scientific, pedagogical, and professional activities and expand the registers of communication in the Eastern language; design the trajectory of further professional and scientific growth.
