During the study of course, master students should acquire the following competencies: 1. plan, prepare a task for carrying out and carry out EIA of various types of economic activities; 2. identify the most significant environmental impact factors of the analyzed object of expertise or audit and prepare documentation for environmental expertise; 3. establish compliance of economic activity with environmental requirements and determine the feasibility of the object of environmental expertise; 4. organize public hearings on EIA and interaction with the state body of environmental regulation and control, with public organizations; 5. carry out engineering and environmental studies to assess the environmental impact of different types of economic activities and to prepare relevant private and consolidated expert assessments and conclusions.
