MODEL OF GRADUATING STUDENT

1. to draw up schemes for optimal use and management of natural and man-made landscapes using modern planning and forecasting methods.
2. to assess the ecological state of natural and man-made landscapes, water, land and mineral resources, the effectiveness of their management system, to develop measures for their protection and rational use.
3. to plan and forecast the use of natural resources based on the analysis of the rates of their use and restoration.
4. independently use modern methods of research, interpretation and processing of geoecological information when conducting scientific research to assess the state of natural and natural-man-made objects to justify the decisions taken.
5. to systematize the scientific literature on the research area and interpret the research data with their publication in domestic and foreign scientific journals.
6. to develop environmental project documentation using modern means of monitoring and assessment of the environment.
7. to organize assessing the environmental risk of man-made systems using modern methods, analyze the results of the assessment and conclude that the risk is acceptable.
8. to apply methods and techniques of environmental modeling of natural objects using GIS technologies to assess and forecast their condition.
9. to develop environmental protection measures based on the analysis of BAT and modern "green" technologies.
10. to systematize environmental protection measures, including waste recycling, restoration of disturbed lands, purification of polluted waters and improvement of atmospheric air for the development of practical recommendations for the preservation of the natural environment.
11. to interpret the indicators of sustainable development of the country to assess and analyze the possibility of achieving the goals of ecological sustainable development of society and the "green economy».
12. to interpret and creatively use scientific, historical and philosophical knowledge to analyze the factors of the development of science, Kazakh society and economy; use modern pedagogical technologies and approaches in conducting classes and educational activities; apply psychological knowledge to make effective decisions, communication in personal life and professional activities.

The course examines the issues of rational forest management, combating desertification, reversing the process of land degradation and loss of biodiversity, ecosystem services, causes and consequences of climate change, ways to solve the problem of warming.
