Upon completion of this educational program, students are expected to be able to:
1. Apply techniques of innovative technologies and methods of new directions in the field of research and teaching the theory and practice of translation
2. To form stable theoretical and practical knowledge about the principles of simultaneous translation
3. Develop the skills of interpretation in a foreign language, adherence to the lexical, grammatical, syntactic and stylistic norms of translation of special texts necessary for professional communication
4. To use new scientific trends in the field of translation studies, research of new modern translation directions and methodology for the translation of special texts
5. To form oral and verbal skills of interpreting, summarizing and annotating scientific works on linguistics writing scientific texts in a foreign language
6. To master the general principles of translation studies in the perspective of modern discussions about equivalence, accuracy, adequacy and usefulness of translation in close connection with the specifics of interlingual, stylistic, functional patterns and correspondences
7. Demonstrate the skills of linguistic and linguistic-cultural analysis of text, discourse based on the system knowledge of the current stage and the history of the development of the languages studied
8. To apply the method of pre-translational text analysis, which facilitates accurate reproduction of the translation text
9. Analyze the scientific and practical activities in the field of translation studies and intercultural communication and the general methodology of scientific creativity
10. To carry out professional written and oral translations in organizations carrying out foreign policy, foreign economic, scientific and cultural relations of the republic with other states; in various sectors of the economy; in the system of international tourism; in information and analytical services and agencies
11. Synthesize and transform modern theories to solve research, educational and practical problems.
12. Develop communication skills in the native and foreign language environment, various ways of verbal non-verbal communication, skills of operating with basic concepts and terms of a linguistic and cultural nature, identifying an analysis of the value orientations of another culture, skills of speech behavior in various communicative situations, owning important cultural geographic, political, historical realities countries of the language being studied (including the most famous political and cultural figures, historically significant events tiyami) in their different interpretations, traditions of public holidays (on the material of the media, official materials of fiction and business prose).
