• Scientific and pedagogical direction - Master of Pedagogical Sciences

Upon completion of this educational program, students are expected to be able to:
ON 1. Develop innovative educational methods and technologies for teaching historical and geographical subjects in General and secondary vocational and higher educational institutions based on the theory of modern pedagogical and methodological knowledge;
ON 2. Apply in the process of learning technology differentiated learning, communication and dialogue activities, modular and project activities; apply GIS technology; to use effectively in the educational process technical training tools, information and computer technologies;
ON 3. Design the content of educational programs of higher professional education on the basis of the graduate competence model, the requirements of state educational standards and the system of modern approaches (modular, student-centered); to organize interactive forms of classes at the university, to develop methodological support, assessment tools, to form educational motives of students;
ON 4. Develop adapted programs and relevant educational materials on environmental education, including teaching aids on how to teach environmental education, to develop a system of scientific knowledge, attitudes and beliefs that ensure the development of a responsible attitude of students to the environment;
ON 5. To be competent in the features of work in small schools, the features of work in external studies; develop adapted programs and relevant teaching materials on teaching methods in the school, select effective learning technologies in the school.
ON 6. Develop proposals for improving the work of the Department of Education on the organization of advanced training for teachers of higher educational institutions and secondary special educational institutions, for introducing innovative educational technologies into the educational process; apply and develop distance learning forms;
ON 7. Conduct qualified research and expert evaluation of the program planning, organization and implementation of educational activities in the organizations of secondary, secondary and higher education;
ON 8. Conduct research in the field of local history, multilingual education and be able to integrate the results of scientific research into the educational process;
ON 9. Apply the methods of auxiliary historical and geographical disciplines, the methodology of interdisciplinary research for the development of historical maps;
ON 10. Develop a program for the development of economic regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, taking into account its modern social, demographic and economic potential; explain the factors that slow down the involvement of labor in the production and services in the country;
ON 11. Create maps of sacred objects, create tourist programs in the sacred places of Central Asia based on the systematization of collected materials on the sacred geography of Central Asia; liaise with scientists, with tourism and educational institutions and the public; own an excursion technique, develop excursion texts along scientific, educational, tourist and excursion routes;
ON 12. To be able to build professional relationships with colleagues and management; adapt flexibly in non-standard situations; integrate personal communication resources, new communication technologies.
