MODEL OF GRADUATING STUDENT

LO1. Evaluate the actual problems of the subject area of Kazakh philology for the research of scientific problems, formulating the goals and objectives of scientific research, using the conceptual and terminological apparatus of linguistics and its methodology.
LO2. Conduct analytical studies of scientific sources, language materials, linguistic teachings, methods, techniques for conducting applied research in the field of phonetics, phonology, grammatology, grammar, history of the Kazakh language and dialectology, lexicology, onomasiology, speech culture, terminology.
LO3. Conduct research on modern graphics of the Kazakh language, using the types of graphics of the medieval written heritage and the writing system of Akhmet Baitursynov.
LO4. Participate in the compilation of lexicographic works, using comparative-historical, comparative, genealogical, etymological, typological, and modification methods of research.
LO5. Plan research work in scientific organizations using project management based on linguistic methods and principles.
LO6. Present scientific results at international and national scientific and practical conferences, discuss the problems of Kazakh philology, publish articles with a high citation index.
LO7. Develop the mechanisms of structural linguistics of the Kazakh language, using the methods of related sciences, historical and functional, comparative, intertextual methods.
LO8. Make recommendations as a result of grammatical research for improving the Kazakh writing on the basis of classifications, typologizations, modeling, quantitative-statistical, semantic, stylistic analysis.
LO9. Defend his own positions and convince his opponents on the basis of valid and reliable research results, demonstrate personal qualities that require initiative and personal responsibility, and work in a team.
LO10. Correct scientific, technical, artistic, and advertising texts, using the basics of spelling, punctuation, and stylistics.
LO11. Preparation of public speech based on genre principles, stylistic methods, and language standards.
LO12. Design, plan different types of classes with a variety of pedagogical methods, form and demonstrate the quality of training of highly qualified teachers of the new formation on the principles of close integration of science, education and innovations.

  • Description - Purpose: Understanding of modern philosophy as a system of scientific knowledge, including worldview in rational-theoretical comprehension. The discipline includes aspects of the evolution and development of scientific thinking, historical moments, the contribution of scientists and scientific schools to the formation of science, and ethical and social aspects of scientific activity.

Monuments of medieval writing: graphics and textual studies

  • Description - The purpose is to get acquainted with the types and graphics of monuments of medieval writing, to master the linguotextological analysis of manuscripts. The following issues will be considered: the study of linguotextological (graphic, phonetic, lexical, morphological, syntactic) analysis by comparing several lists of a medieval written monument; interpreting the causes of linguistic deviations; having the ability to identify differences between lists.

National Paremiological Foundation: Genesis and Pragmatics

  • Description - The purpose of the discipline is to determine the place of phraseology in the language system; to identify the uniqueness of phraseological units among other linguistic units. The objectives of the course are to identify the features that bring phraseological units closer to linguistic units of other levels (word, phrase and sentence), as well as the features that distinguish them; – describe a phraseological fragment of the linguistic picture of the world; - identify the features of the functioning of phraseological units in speech; - increase the lexical and phraseological stock of undergraduates.

  • Description - The goal is to develop the reading and writing skills of "tote zhazu" by Akhmet Baitursynov. The following questions will be considered: formation of knowledge about the theory of writing by Akhmet Baitursynov (stages of development, formation); teaching the letter "tote" at the academic level; mastering the reasons for the use of letters denoting vowels and consonants.

Alphabet and graphics of the turkic languages

  • Description - The goal is to form a scientific and theoretical understanding of the alphabet, graphics and spelling of the Turkic languages. The following questions will be considered: mastering the content of letters and the composition of the alphabets of the Turkic languages, their features; analysis of phonemes, graphemes, letter ratios; formation of knowledge on the study of the history and spelling of the alphabet.

History of Kazakh graphemology

  • Description - The goal is to form a systematic knowledge of the historical graphemology of the Kazakh language. The following issues will be considered: mastering the phonetic-phonological, graphemological historical foundations of the Kazakh script; analysis of the centuries-old grammatical structure of the Kazakh script; formation of a systematic graph-spelling knowledge depending on the alphabet and types of graphics.

History of Kazakh lexicography

  • Description - The goal is to form knowledge about the development and formation of Kazakh lexicography. The following questions will be considered: the study of the classification of dictionaries of the historical direction, which served as the basis for the formation of the Kazakh lexicography; the development of the structure of the historical dictionary article, the semantic principles of interpretation of ancient, old, borrowed words; the analysis of modern Kazakh dictionaries based on the methods and principles of lexicography.

Kazakh alphabet and spelling based on the Latin script

  • Description - The goal is to master the new norms of the Kazakh alphabet and spelling, based on the Latin script. The following issues will be considered: differentiation of phonetic and phonological features, grammatological principles of the Latinographic Kazakh script; distinction of the content and type of each letter in the alphabet; in-depth study of new orthographic and orthoepic norms of the Kazakh language.

Linguistics and modern analysis of literary text

  • Description - The purpose of the discipline is to develop the skills of modern linguistic stylistic analysis of Kazakh literary texts with the provision of fundamental knowledge about the ways and methods of studying linguistic stylistics. During the course of the discipline, the undergraduate will know: the theory and practice of Kazakh and world linguistics; the reasons for the originality of the analysis of Kazakh literary texts; will form the skill of analyzing a modern literary text.

Linguistics of spoken language

  • Description - The purpose of the discipline is to form ideas about the features of the phonetic, morphological, syntactic, lexicological levels of the Kazakh oral language, about the similarities and differences between the written language and oral speech. Discipline is directed contribute to the formation of the communicative competence of the future specialist, i.e. to increase his general speech culture, improve his knowledge of the norms of the modern Kazakh oral language, form the skills of effective communication in various communication conditions, the skills of correct public speech.

Structure and pragmatics of traditional Kazakh speech

As a result, the undergraduate will: form knowledge about the structure, system, norm and style of traditional Kazakh thought expression; master the skills of linguistic and stylistic analysis of texts corresponding to grammatical, logical, stylistic, ethical norms of the language; form competencies for evaluating Kazakh public speech.
