1) compares the features of international, state and regional education policy, strategies and innovations for the development of educational and methodological materials in socio-political disciplines;
2) prepares research programs, reports, analytical notes, reviews and briefings on education policy in a clear, understandable and empirically based language, including in a foreign language;
3) applies methodological, conceptual and technological tools in the study of educational policy aimed at the socialization and development of the civic position of students;
4) analyzes the philosophical, sociological and economic aspects of education policy and the key patterns of functioning of the concepts of coordination of interests of subjects of educational policy;
5) provides an assessment of political and legal documents of a strategic and tactical nature in the field of education policy, plans and projects in the field of youth policy, possible risks of implementing programs for the development of civic engagement;
6) examines education policy models in terms of their potential impact on underserved or marginalized populations;
7) develops scientific and practical recommendations for government organizations, legislative bodies, akimats, analytical centers and non-profit organizations engaged in education;
8) conducts an examination of the quality of the national education system based on systemic interdisciplinary knowledge and skills of theoretical and methodological analysis of problems, the use of a qualimetric approach, generalization of the best domestic and foreign practices in education policy;
9) models changes in education to improve the quality of educational systems using comparative, sociological, political science methods of information processing, special practices for analyzing education policy;
10) carries out educational activities in higher education, ensure the effectiveness of the educational process based on classical and innovative methods of teaching socio-political disciplines.
